SOUTH DAKOTA - Minnehaha County and Sioux Falls Police, Fire, and EMS - Live Audio Feed

TIME & DATE THAT I LISTENED TO & REVIEWED THIS SCANNER FEED:
Sunday, October 9, 8:05pm - 9:09pm

SCANNER FEED AUDIO QUALITY:
The quality of this digital police scanner feed was pretty good.

QUANTITY OF SCANNER TRANSMISSIONS:
The transmissions that I heard on this live feed were coming in every few seconds, and that is fairly busy considering that it was early on a Sunday night that I reviewed it.

TRANSMISSIONS OF INTEREST:
Here are the highlights from my time spent listening to this live scanner feed.
  • Police were dispatched to a location where several subjects were reported to be fighting.
  • Police received a call from a female who asked them to come to her home where there was a burglary in progress.  She stated that an individual was trying to break the door in while she was attempting to hold it shut.  Turns out it was her cat stuck between the door and storm door.
  • Rescue was asked to report to a scene where a subject was bleeding profusely through his nose and mouth.
  • Officers were dispatched to a location where the female caller stated that her father was fighting with her boyfriend.
  • Police were asked to be on the lookout for an 11 year old boy that ran away after being punished by his parents for something.
  • Several calls came in asking officers to investigate the sound of a large explosion of some type in the area.
  • Police went to check a report of a possible gunshot in an apartment building.
  • Rescue was sent to a location to assist a 68 year old female having difficulties breathing.
  • Police responded to a dispute where one person was threatening to stab the other person with a large knife.
